Well I marked the first of the new year by starting the task of building the new grand. My goal is to have this one running for Big dogs and finshed by the time the york jeep show hits. I'm looking to win the spot for most capable/decent looking rig in the unibody division. This is what I got to work with, not bad for $250.

The drive line is pretty much shot with 235,000 miles on it. Though it can still get around on its own power. To fix this I plan on rebuilding the motor in the wrecked ...

Well this is the project that I'm in the middle of now....

I tore the old deck off of this heap, pressure washed it and painted about half of it before the rain put an end to that....

I'm gonna register it in Maine through an agency so that I don't have to sit at the MVA, don't have to pay for an inspection and it was pretty cheap and easy to do from my cubicle...

Trailer is 16 ft long and 77 inches wide

I went to Home Depot last night to check out the lumber selection. Should ...

JUST PLAIN FUCKING STUPID!! I'm no longer going to write my shit off as having bad luck but from now on I'm just stupid.

So it all started last thursday. I got the led zepplin blu ray and was jamming my ass off after having "a few" beers. I noticed the sub wasn't working so I decided to dig in and found that it was accidentally plugged in the wrong place...no biggie fixed it. It looks like the 2 front ones will need to be replaced shortly. I think the rears are ok for now.

Well, it looks like we are inheriting a 95 Cherokee from a family member. All I know is that something is wrong with the power steering and it needs a front fender. It will be picked up the weekend after Big Dogs. It most likely will be a street Jeep but I'm not making any promises.

Since I'm a YJ woman, can anybody tell me what the differences are between the Cherokees and the Grand Cherokees...other than engine size? And what is it...an XJ?

I'm kinda new to this forum, so I'd like to say hi to everyone. As to my question-why doesn't Bigfoot compete in Monster Jam events (at least none that I've seen). I've always been interested in monster trucks, and just recently(past year or so) really began becoming a bigger fan of the sport, so my knowledge is limited, but growing. Thanks!

feels good.

Testing a new item that Maryland speed is thinking of selling it a water proof camera. I mounted it to the front bumper to see what it would look at. Will be testing it at the next trail ride. With the sun faceing it cause darker picture than I would like. I keep you all posted on how this works may be a neat toy. Here is the first shot.

As posted by Bruce on the RC forum.

OK by the end of the week we should have everything locked down for details but here is what we are working on just to keep everyone in the loop.

One of the races will be a “mini” RCQ style event at the park. Mutable laps of a total race length of 15 miles. (nothing is in stone yet)

The other race we are working out the fine print but it looks really good that we will be racing on the old MX track (someone say table tops) and trails. Rausch Creek ...

Well lets see who would be interested in heading back down to the OBX for Jeeps on the beach this summer....

Looks like Hatteras is the popular spot....

I found a quick link to some places that accept pets in Hatteras:

So during the Big Dogs run I discovered a few issues with the jeep.

1. The steering had some play in it. Discovered the kingpins had some play on both sides of about 1/4" tire movement. I removed the steering arm and put an extra large washer in there and it cured the steering problem. Put some new grease fittings on teh steering arms and gave it a good lubing.

2. Rear 3rd member was leaking. Removed the 3rd member and put a new seal on. Also replaced the lower 2 studs that ...
