| I guess it went OK it look like about 30 people watching it. I walk up there before it started to see if I knew anyone. There was no one I knew. This show was the GM Nationals. The Truck Nationals would be the better show to do this at. I was there with Maryland Speed my son-in-law company. We were scoping it out to set up a booth next year. _________________ 81 cj7 258 HEI, MC2100,Clifford header,4WDH 4" lift, 33" tires, T-177, D300, 4:10 gears, aussie locker front and back, Toyota axles, Longfield 30 spline chromoly superaxles, BigDaddy rockers,Mastercraft seats, Full cage

| A note from Grag Knoll below about the event. Tico; I went to the event on Saturday. It was an interesting experience. Bruce was short handed and as a result it was a lot of wheeling - I think I did more in 3 hours on that rock pile than I normally do in a full day at rausch. There was plenty of carnage as well. I broke the rear drive shaft on my rubicon, bandaided it during lunch, drove the rest of the afternoon then lost it again on the drive home. I ended up limping home on the front drive shaft. All told we lost two axles ,two rear drive shafts (3 if you count mine breaking twice), rolled two times, and finally snapped a front control arm - quite a lot of dammage for 8 jeeps. Still, was a good pile with lots of big high angle climbs, but purpose built with plenty of fill dirt in the big holes to keep the action moving. I think we drew about 500-1000 spectators at the rock pile, and there were about 5000 at the show. At one point a fella named Otter took the hooters girls for a trip through the rocks. That one was a highlight for the promotional photos. All in all a very fun event that was good advertising for Rausch Creek, and a nice display for the public. From what I hear this was an unusually low number of rigs for an event and as a result we drove a lot more than usual. Normally they try for about 20 rigs so that everyone gets 5-10 runs through the pile instead of the 20-30 I ran. Still this was a good cause, a good time, and a fun day. I recommend it to any one interested in getting out for an afternoon wheeling in the sun. From what Bruce said, there will be two more Carlisle events this year that will feature Rausch creek rock piles. Greg Knoll Incidentally, the rock pile consisted of 15 truckloads of dirt, 12 truckloads of boulders and was surrounded by gersey walls to allow the crowd to be close to the action, but still safe from our games. _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders |

| Tico, thanks for helping me out with spreading the word. Greg was the only member but with short notice it was nice to have. I am looking for rigs two Saturdays from now for the All Chrysler show. Then again for the all truck show the 1st weekend in aug.
Thanks again

| I would have been all over that if the jeep was done. Why does it seem like I'm missing all the good stuff. _________________ 2008 ADA run - Trail Master (all questions welcome)
