| Hellow friends and memebrs,
Recently I became the benefactor of a 1979 CJ7, while it is free it runs and needs some restorations work, this is the perfect vehicle to become a project Jeep to benefit the club and the ADA fundraiser.
What do we need?
1. Body restoration from rust spots 2. Brake lines need to be replace. 3. Power steering unit needs to be replace. 4. Paint job.
and thats what I know so far. I hope to have it picked up by Saturday. It has a clean title too. This could very well be what we needed to put us over the top on out fundraiser efforts. Now we just have to find the donations of parts and labor to clean it up.
Once restored to a practical Jeep, we will sell tickects for $100 each. The big question is what can you do for us to help? _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders

| This is a great effor. I need someone that has a tailer or can use my trailer to pick it up for me, I still can't drive and I will need to get a temp tag for it. The Idea for a vitech school is great, who can contact one of the them. I can make some calls, but with limited mobility, I am stuck at home. Plese keep this going on, I think we got a good thing here. _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders |

| | do you think it will be more worth selling it, then to raffle it off. I would think you would make more money. I guess it might not be to hard to get 20+ people to buy $100 ticket but I know I don't have the money for just a chance to win a rusted jeep. |

If I sell it, then it's a profit even though I donate the money. I hope to get the rust problem solved if I can get someone to donate the time, materials and work. We are all resorful I would hope this would be easier collectively. _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders |

| | Maybe to get more tickets sold - put something on the web pages using paypal. Maybe some of the other clubs might put it on their web site - buy w/ paypal and mail the tickets out |

| Before you guys get all carried away with this a couple of things need to be done. First, someone needs to have a couple of pros look at the CJ and figure just how much work is going to be needed to fix this rig. Then over all cost on paper before you just taking accepting items with out a game plan. _________________ 94YJ locker/spool, lifted 37" MTR's lots of cool stuff (Trail rig) 00WJ open/open, lifted 31" MTR's (curbcrawler) 84 Toyota Pickup open/welded, 33's solid front axle and rusted frame 07 FORD E350 SD (TOW VAN)

The Body needs sanding and paint, the frame needs sand blasting, the windshield needs to be replace or repaired, the floor pan like all CJ7 of its class needs repairs or replacement. It's a project for sure. The steering pump just needs a new line and it could use some light mods. Other than that its a good investment. So far is costing me 140 for the tags, 250 for 6 months insurance. _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders |

| I will check into Harford Tech on Monday.. You need to keep in mind school is out in 3 months so its not going to happen this year. You would have to get it to them before school starts and let them have it all year. It definitely going to need some work but would be a perfect job for the tech school if they want to fool with it.
Chris, I went to get it tonight but it would not start. I didnt feel like fooling with it in the rain after I unloaded my rig and everything to go get it. I didnt know they didnt try starting it today when they were there. I will probably do it Sunday some time.
Its actually a 1/4 mile from my house. _________________ Best Quote "BACK UP, TAKE THE SKIRT OFF AND DRIVE" ---taken from KGB/CREEPER member.

| The jeep is pulled face in and there are cars all around it. I am off Tuesday so I will do it during the day when everyone is at work..
Tico, I will call you later..Heading to Salisbury. I tried but it went straight to voice mail.
I had the trailer hooked to the truck so I dont have much mobility to get close enough to the jeep to jump start it.. _________________ Best Quote "BACK UP, TAKE THE SKIRT OFF AND DRIVE" ---taken from KGB/CREEPER member.
