| Am I wrong to expect my wife to stay with the jeep while I walk 1 1/2 miles to the gas station so she can make sure noone steals the jeep? _________________ http://www.mymudspace.com/Rockn93yj |

| | I wouldn't make anyone walk the mile and a half with me. but if they were agaist staying. Then they would be more than welcome to come. |

| well it ran out of gas...(I know but it has a new guage and a new tank and for some reason I expected the guage to be accurate). It wouldn't take much for someone to throw on a tow strap and go with it. I didn't think she should walk the mile and a half and I can certainly make better time. She said she wasn't going to stay there alone. Walked the mile and a half to the sheetz and they didn't have any gas cans so I walked to the autozone and bought one and walked back to the sheetz and then back to the jeep. I left her at the sheetz so I could jog back to the jeep. I was really stepping it out to get to the sheetz and walking with her was like a mosey pace. I usually fill it when it gets to 1/4 tank but this is the first it's been out in awhile and the guage said 1/4 tank left. _________________ http://www.mymudspace.com/Rockn93yj |

| | Been in your situation, but not with the better half. I was on 83 right outside the city, and was very worried about the safety of the jeep. A long walk to and from Hamden I made it back with the jeep still there in one piece......ended up the sending unit was bad...fixed it soon after.. |

| I have one of those military plastic cans you’re welcome to have hold about 5 gallons. Sorry to hear about that. But the exercise probably did you well. _________________ MRR-Founder Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Retired USMC-Urrraahhh!
