So bobbi made a good point this weekend. maybe we should just move our tellico date to the dixie run. I don't know much about it other than its in the early fall and its a massive party of wheelers. Sounds like a blast to me so I'm all for it.

21th Annual Dixie Run
Location: Upper Tellico ORV Area, Nantahala National Forest, Murphy, North Carolina.
Date: October 5 - 7, 2007

We're offering a weekend of family fun and hardcore trail riding in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. Upper Tellico ORV Area is located on National Forest lands in the Nantahala National Forest.

Guided trail rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Camping in our headquarters campground (or stay in a local motel).
Dinner on Saturday night.
Kids games and contests.
Dash plaque and other goodies for your 4x4.
Trophies awarded for events.
Raffle for donated prizes.

I've been trying to get members of my local club interested in going to Tellico. But haven't had much response. I'd love to hook up with you guys,
Sue has no vacation left so I'd be flying solo. If your planing this in the fall maybe by then I'll have the gears for my 35" tires installed.

I'm in 110%...my only concern is how many rigs the dixie run will draw? I was hoping to get a summer run in but it's not looking like a reality. It just sucks having traffic jams in the woods. But anyway...count me in!! sdfjgkjdbkhjdger

Yeah it sounds good to me. Nick was it you that I talked about running guard rail with. I would love to run the Dixe Run sdfjgkjdbkhjdger

but a bunch of us in one of the cabins at the crawfords sounds like a blast.

I should have all the new axels and tires,tranny ect. under the jeep by then so i'm down for what ever trail you want to run. how does the third weekend in sept sound to everybody.
