| all right I drove the jeep around the block. The motor seemed strong, no hesitation in spinning the 36's. Also there's nothing like the sound of a v8, it turns some heads when you drive down the street. The tranny shiffted kind of funny but as long as I have first gear i'm happy. i'll know more thur when I take it down the shop thur and begin to flex it out with the machine and under its own power. _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools" |

that was because you were ripping its motor out with a skid steer. _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools" |

| I have to make some new upper control arms for the rear. I'm kind of new to building control arms but i'm guessing the parts list would be as follows. 1.25 - 12 tpi tube adapter 2.63 flex joint with 9/16 hole with 1.25 stud 2.63 flex joint with 9/16 hole tube to fit tube adapter if i'm pricing this right off of ballistic fabs site, each control arm would be around $100 or so. Does this sound right? _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools" |

| DOM 1.75 x .250 tubing is about $12 a foot and would have inside diameter of 1.25 for the tubing adapters. tube adapters about $14 each,, jam nuts about 2-4 each, joints are around 20 for cheapees, 35 and up for the better ones. Also need misalignment spacers. Check out https://www.spydercustoms.com/index2.php poison spyder site. also check polyperformance.com _________________ http://www.mymudspace.com/Rockn93yj |
