scratch when i did mention this a few months back, everybody wined about how hot it would be going there in aug. and would prefer to go in oct/nov. I would like to head down with some people from the club, but i didn't think anyone would be interested.
Anyway heres the info for those interested

In all honesty I would love to join you on this trip Joe. Emily has family local to Harlan and it would make good time for us to be down there and visit but I can't promise anything with the wedding in October and our main focus on wheeling big dogs in september I dont see us making it but you never know we might pull it off. Its just a dream at the moment but I just wanted to give you shit. I hope you make it to show us all up and cut a path for you to guide us down there in the future.

Finally pulled the jeep off the trailer and scrubed her down to see whats all wrong with her. I noticed something I didn't see at big dogs. A huge dent in my oil pan from my drag link. I'm guessing it happened when my bump stop broke seeing its only one dent and not multiple ones.
also noticed a dent in my rear d60, wtf a dent in the housing scratch I thought these things were bomb proof Sad

dent in the actual housing or diff cover?
BULLETPROOF doesn't automatically mean Joe proof.

The housing, if you look at the rear pinion, it was to the lower left. The front cover also took a beating. I'll have to post some pics up as soon as I get the camera up and working.

I know, between work and being just burned out ive been slacking. I'm going to make a push this month to get all the little bullshit taken care of so it will be fully operational by the end of the month to make a strong run at the late summer/ fall wheeling season.

anyone interested sometime this month giving me a hand in trying to tackel putting gears in my rig?

Well after my mallcrawlin group found out that I wasn't going to Harlan, they said in there own way that I was pulling a Nester on them. Well I guess I can't be doing that so it looks like I'm heading down next thur.

So I guess the mad rush begins yet once again since i'll be rolling out thur morning. Over the weekend I reinstalled the rear 60 and fixed all bugs from big dogs.

1. extended the rear axle out about an 1"
2. redid the upper control arms.
3. welded up the rear
4. extended the coil perches
5. added two bump stops
6. fixed the rear suck down winch
7. redid the shock mounts (sorry Bill)
8. fabbed new drive shaft

To do list
1. redo front bump stops
2. move ram tab on tie rod
3. fix leaky hydro hoses
4. weld and re drill high steer arms
5. install yj pitman arm
6. run separate wires for hydro fan.
