| My son is going to look at a 92 YJ with 80k miles, 4.0, 5-speed. Is there anything special we should be looking for ? I don't know what to be on the look out for or want to avoid. It appears to be all stock.

| search for rust around the rear shackle area on the frame.
Lift up the carpets and check the floor boards and around the fron seat belt areas for rust.
Check to see if the 4 wheel drive vacuum system works.
What does it come with?
Hard top, soft top, full doors, half doors, soft doors?

| I would check the body mounts for rot as well. The bushings at the body mounts on my 91 YJ are falling to pieces

|  Well my son purchased the 92 YJ. He got it for $2600. It came with a new set of 31" Geo Landers & a 4" ShyJacker Lift still in the box. We only need to get a few things so it will pass inspection. It needs a new Windsheild, the rear bumpers and a rear axle seal. The back seat is missing so he will need to get one of them. Thanks for everyones input.
