PostSubject: Winter projects???   Sat Jul 25, 2009 12:22 am

I noticed a few of the trees around me have started changing colors already and I got to thinking how much I hate the winters up here. I have a few things planned with the Jeep to keep me busy. What do the other members of this board have planned for winter projects?

well if I can ever get the money together I would like to tube out the toyota. Cut the roof and doors off and buggy it out. Maybe build the front end and do the doubler is i can land some good side work before the winter months.

I always tend to do my projects in the middle of the wheeling season.

That is so true. What the fuck is up with that?!? We just like miserable weather I guess. If that god damn money tree would grow in my back yard I'd be getting into this Nissan hardbody build. I'd like to build it to it to race in things like this - http://www.lm4w.org/ I love rock crawling but nothing beats some balls to the wall driving through tight trails.

I'm still working on my winter "mud bandit" project from last year. nothing planned this winter so Nester let me know when you are ready to tear into the toyota. Another couple weekends and I'll be ready to run in the mud bogs and rock races this fall.

Well I need to call that guy again see if he is going to get anymore tube. I was going to buy what I needed from him but the AC in the house tok a shit on me. I dont know about where you guys live but a house in Nova without AC in the summer in murder. Should have the funds built up buy the falll for cage materials and the doubler if I'm lucky.

I have a few upcoming mods. First is putting an ARB in the rear. I am actually hoping to get it here and installing it before the 22 August RC rocs. I don’t know if that is going to happen. Check out my pictures for my winter project.
