PostSubject: Charter Team Leader   Fri Jul 27, 2007 10:09 am

Hello everyone:

Our growth has been constant, every year we add more members in various categories and locations throughout this state, PA and Virginia. Hence I need help in administrating the clubs get together. Our main objective is to expand our Brotherhood and help the sport grow, in doing this we have reached people in the outer areas of Baltimore, I propose to establish a charter team leader, this leader will be responsible for holding a get together on behave of the club, and keeping with our code of conduct (don’t make an ass of yourself when drinking) you know social moments. Talk about Jeep stuff, improvements, trail rides and discovering new locations that are legal or have the potential to be legal. Our senior staff (not by age) would discuss these issues and take action to secure locations for use.

I, for one am a fanatic for pictures, like most of you when I surf the web, I want see pictures, not read endlessly about some closure in the west part of the country. My concerns are right here in the East cost, more to the point the mid-Atlantic area because this is where we live and play. There’s a lot of rogue clubs out there, lacking leadership and understanding of the sport or the environment, and they don’t respect other peoples property or much less themselves, these are the guys and gals we need to identify, like a big brother and sister, teach them the right way. We could work hard at showing our concerns, sharing our passion for off road driving, and keeping the area we play clean, but it only takes one person to set off a negative image and access will be denied not only to them, but to us, this is why it is important you remain vigilant about your area, undocumented trails, or even the ones known to be illegal. Help us help you enjoy the full potential of your ride. Discussion of this will be open on the forum chat box, and I will post a message as to when. For now think about it, if you feel qualified for this new position, let me know, maybe we can hold a social hour or so to talk more about it. Submit location to meet.

Areas under consideration: Ashton, VA, Hagerstown, MD, Cecil County, Laurel, MD, Silver Spring, MD (my old home town), Southern Maryland, Eastern Shore, and Hershey PA, Maybe even in Ft. Dill New York, where we have 2 proud members of the Army serving.

Until my next chat…

I usually do pretty good spelling considering I rarely write anything. But go to this Link download and install:

http://www.iespell.com/

It's free, safe and works with Internet Explorer. You can use it for E-Mails or postings. It doesn't catch grammar and some mistakes but it makes your written word look much better. Very Happy
