PostSubject: Built Dana 60's   Tue Sep 15, 2009 12:11 pm

I'm posting this for the guy I bought my jeep from:

Front-
Passenger side drop Dana 60 out of a chevy. Full width, 5.13 gears, Detroit Locker, 35 Spline Yukon Inner and Outer Shafts, Mount Logan Drive Flanges, Blue Torch Diff Cover. All bearings, seals, and calipers and rotors were new when the axle was built. $2,500
Rear-
Full width Dana 60 out of a newer ford. Disc brakes, 5.13 gears, Detroit locker, Yukon 35 Spline Chromoloy shafts, set up for a four link with Blue torch Diff Cover and truss. $2,000

Both axles were completely rebuilt when they were built approx 3years ago. The axles were under a buggy that saw a grand total of three wheeling trips. Axles are in great shape. Will post pics when I get a chance.

E-mail T2@weissschantz.com

Thanks,
Tim Schantz

Kat I may be interested in this. I'm considering switching from the ford drivers drop axle to the chevy passenger drop axle so i can run a chevy 205 transfer case. I'll send him an email.

Cool. I am trading him my half doors for the full doors he got with the YJ he bought and is building.

This is what he posted on Rausch:

"Sold the Chassis to Dean from 4 Low Digital and have the rest of the parts sitting in the garage. Picking up a YJ tomorrow to buy a rig I can wheel and drive. Gonna sell all the parts I don't need or can't use."

I would ask him what he has or let him know what you are looking for when you talk to him.
I know he is out of town on business until Friday.
