Does TIG welders work like MIG welders? I know that TIG is stick welding that is stronger but whats the spec on it? What thickness can it weld?

The welder should be able to weld 1/4" steel with the TIG feature and thicker with the stick welder. The TIG will give you alot of "control" when welding but is alot slower then MIG or Stick welding.
