Club Meeting to be cordinated with Mid-Atlantic meeting

For those interested persons in running for an office with the Mid-Atlantic association, we will be holding a meeting at the GooseBerry Restaurant on Saturady, November 3rd. The meeting is to discuss the next level for the association and to fill the possitions that have become vacant due to ill health by those previously holding them. Due to the by Laws of the Associaiton, only 2 members from each club may participate as officers. I have been asked repeatedly to run for an office and have elected the Vice President, that leaves one possition availabe for another member of the MRR club. The possition available are as follows:

Director of Conservation/Land Use (Dave Hook's former position);

Director of Membership and Marketing (Rick Bear's former position);

and Treasurer (Erika Ipes former position).

Per the bylaws, 2 of the openings can be filled from any one club.

I will be verifying the availability of Gooseberry's for our annual meeting on the morning of Saturday, November 3 with plans to head up to Rausch to ride afterwards. I'll send out a note about that as soon as it's confirmed.

Is this a meeting for just the MRR members to join the Mid-Atlantic.... or is this a meeting for the mass of the surrounding clubs to meet and step forward to accept positions? Who else is going to be there?

Well first of all it will be the association meeting involving the PA Jeeps, Capital Off Road Enthusiasts and us. after their meeting we can hold ours. I haven't created an agenda but would be interested as to what you and others want to cover.
