| I finally decided I wanted to join a local club in hopes that I would get the chance to offroad more. I've been into Jeeps for a few years now. I started with a Liberty back in 03. I built it up (2.5 lift, MT/Rs full skids) and wheeled at Paragon and Rausch and GWNF. I gave the Liberty to my wife so I could buy an LJ in 06. She soon wrecked the Liberty in an accident. Now I just have the 05 LJ that's also built up pretty good. I've got a RE 5.5 long arm lift, 35" MT/Rs, skids, rock rails, ORO steering, Shrockworks rear bumper w/ swing away etc. I heard about you guys years ago but at the time I was hanging out mostly with a group I found online. They have become less active over the last year or so and I finally decided to find a group that was more local and more active. I started looking through all my old bookmarked Jeep clubs and finally signed up on your forums. I live in Abingdon and judging from where most of you guys live, you're all probably about ten minutes away. So even if it's not an off road trip maybe you guys would have wrench fest that would be a lot easier for me to make it too. Can't wait to meet some of you guys. |

| welcome aboard, sounds like you got a pretty good rig. I've been pretty lazy on my jeep as of late, just selling stuff off of it to get it ready for the next step. But i'll let you know when I kick back into gear again i'll try to put some wrenching party together. Maybe we could have a hydro steering party when we all get around to putting it on our jeeps. Anyway Big dogs is usaly the first event of the year when everyone bring out their toys that they have been working on all winter. _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools" MARR step up or step out Who me? I didn't do it and you can't prove it. Also by chance do you have a lighter? |
