| ADQ= Another dumb question. (ok as my dad always said "There's never a dumb question, just stupid people")
I was taking out the carpet in the bed and I noticed a boat load of plugs. 2 had me confused. 04 TJ, rear passenger side almost at tailgate are 2 rubber plugs that have metal almost nails going through them. When you pull out the plugs the 'nails' are sticking into a white tube connected to wiring. What the heck is it? I didnt want to putz with it but has me stumped. |

| It sounds like you are talking about the connection for the 3rd brake light. Are there similar metal connections located on the inside of the tailgate that make contact when the tailgate is closed?
