Here are the details from Ebay. I got it for $100. I know it will need to be regeared but does the rest look ok? I am a complete idiot when it comes to axles.....

Up for auction is a 1989 lincoln disc brake rear end. I recently removed this item from a car that ran and drove. The stud pattern is a 4.5 bolt pattern. It has ABS. Here are the tag numbers from the rear: S407F 3L27N889D18. Ford told me that the numbers come up as an 8.8 with 327 limited slip gear ratio. Rear end cover is a 10 bolt cover. It is 44.75 inches from outside to outside shock mounts. It is 54.25 inches from backing plate to backing plate. It is 45 inches from outside to outside lower control arm mounts. One wheel stud is broke on the driver's side. There are no rotors or calipers included.

I hate to tell you this but I think the spline count is low on those axels because its out of a car which makes it no better then a d35. Thats the reason you need to stick with a 95 or newer 8.8 because they have the 31 spline count and disk brakes.

I have an empty housing that I plan to scrap but no axles, brakes, or guts hurry up if you want it

Did you buy it or did you contact the seller to call it off.
