I currently have a 454, 700R4, 231C drivetrain in my CJ project. I need a fixed yoke tcase and CV driveshaft. Is it worth the money putting a fixed yoke kit in the 231C or is my money better spent in a different case like a flipped D300? Currently running 79 Bronco axles 9"/D44 drivers drop. Plan is to install a set of 79 ford D60 axles drivers drop in the near future.
If I build the 231C it is a chevy tcase and is 5 bolt so will not work in jeeps and not likely easy to sell.
