| | so i bought an 88 wrangler with a 4.2 on friday 450$ and drove it home played with it all saturday but i cant seem to get the drums off ive done all the normal stuff pb blaster BFH but cant get them to budge ......any ideas would be very helpful...thanks cameron |

| Back off the brake adjuster this makes sure the brake pads are not holding the drum on.

| yeah its a little hole in the back of the drums under the axle. what happens is the drum shoes wear on the drum and make a lip on the drum making it a *&%# to get them off. This is a sign that it needs to drums and shoes. Oh yeah once you get it all together and on the street I would start thinking about a weber carb or a TBI system. The stock setup sucks and will piss you off on hill climbs. Lets see some pictures of the new toy

| | no way the four banger is my baby plus ive got a extra drive train layin around for it ...........that kid mark is workin on the 88 for his ride ......i'll take my 2.5 over the 4.2 any day the carb thing just dosent do it for me ...............the only reason the 88 was bought is for 500$ if it breaks or rolls off a cliff no big deal.....it can stay in the woods...... |

No leaving jeeps in the woods you will have to pull it out  The club does not litter
