good point, i haven't given the driveshafts much thought yet. I know I will have to change length so i will likely beef them up while I'm at it.

I would go with balanced square, which is almost bomb proof as far as the shaft is concerned.

since you will be traveling at higher speeds than normal, I don't like to say this but, you prob. should consider spending the money and having a shop make one for you that is truly balanced, i am sure that they can make one for you that will handle the stress on your abuse lk also i believe that they can use almost any thickness tubing on the shaft ,within reason rabbit

I don't know of a driveshaft shop that will balance a square shaft most tractor pto's only run 550 rpm think about the high speed. square shafts are very strong but i don't think it would be good for racing
