| Well Joe and Matt, you might sleep better at night knowing I dumped the rig today - whoops. Now the roll itself wouldn't have been so bad IF I didn't roll into a damn mud hole. I guess technically it was a flop but looking at the video, it was pretty close to going all the way. My damn cell phone now rests at the bottom of the pit. Not the smartest thing I've ever done and I knew I should have just left without trying again but it was taunting me. The other part that sucked was I was with my brother law who is basically stock and I couldn't get my winch in the right position to use that.

| Well the top has a few tears in it, didn't really lose any oil or fluids except for the crate of stuff in the back. I'm just going to rely on other people to carry gear oil because it always spills all over my damn Jeep. Anyway we used a tow strap on the frame and yanked it over but it was a fight. I was waiting for the dana35 to explode and complete the day on an even higher note. Actually at one point when he was getting to a different place to strap and broke through ice into a hidden mud hole. I thought for sure he was stuck. I beat the ever living piss out of it to get it out.
I still plan on wheeling Sunday as long as there are no big problems when I get it into the garage tomorrow. I drove it home and she drove as shitty as ever so I'm good to go. Actually I had to change a tire at sheetz because there was dirt and crap in the bead. I managed to use the oba with the blower attachment to clean out the other enough that it didn't leak. Other carange was my tomken rock rail - i think it's tomken i dunno i've had them for 6 years but they don't make a good strapping point
And it might have been cool if it wasn't in a mud hole that smelled like a construction site porta potty. I was mostly pissed about my cell phone falling in other than that it was entertaining. _________________ '92 YJ 1.5" RE SOA, 2" body, 37" Krawlers, D44 ARB, 8.8 ARB 4.88s, 4:1, Poison Spyder Hi-Steer, On-board Air |

| I killed 3 of the "indestructible" ones...my total count is about 7 or 8 now. I was really impressed with how long I had this one. At least I saved the gaypod - can't say the same for the 9mm though. _________________ '92 YJ 1.5" RE SOA, 2" body, 37" Krawlers, D44 ARB, 8.8 ARB 4.88s, 4:1, Poison Spyder Hi-Steer, On-board Air |

| Sucks to roll it and loose stuff. I bet you could have made it if you did 3rd gear. _________________ http://www.mymudspace.com/Rockn93yj |

| welcome to the club. One thing I found was that the whole air intake had oil in it. If you clean that out good along with a new air filter you shold be fine. _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools"

| Nice video
Glad to hear there wasn't too much damage done. Good thing you have the new roll cage.
Was that the same mud hole that you went through when I was out with you over the summer? _________________ '01 TJ 4.5" RE, 35" MTs, Aussie up front '91 YJ - has to be towed everywhere rig |

| Yah that was the same one danny. I kind of got the Jeep cleaned out a bit today and am slowly trying to figure out how many of many parts/tools live at the bottom of that hole with my cell phone. So far it's my cell phone and a brand new arb snatch block. _________________ '92 YJ 1.5" RE SOA, 2" body, 37" Krawlers, D44 ARB, 8.8 ARB 4.88s, 4:1, Poison Spyder Hi-Steer, On-board Air |

| Damn! Nick, you know how to have fun in small groups. Sorry to hear about your Jeep, particularly since it was a small hill after all the though thing you've climb. Glad to hear your OK, though. Nex time call out for help.....OH..I forgot, it's at the bottom of the mud hole.... Maybe you should attach a cord or something to retrive it if it falls away from you.
Nice video too. Great potos. _________________ MRR-Founder/President Mid-Atlantic-FWDA-Vice President Sales Rep for Adams Suzuki/Used Cars-n-Trucks Cell 443-865-0504 myspace.com/marylandrockraiders |
