Hey Everyone

Hey guys, my name is nick, i live in bel air MD, i drive 97 white wrangler, you may have seen me. ive had a jeep now for about a year and half and cant save up for a lift. i think im finally getting there. My jeep is a 4 banger auto, give me some ideas!! i work in white marsh at a Machine shop. I run CNC Mills. ill be going to cationsville this fall to learn more.
Im pretty easy going. i love to go wheeling. dont all jeepers love that. haha
i was told by tico when i sstopped by adams to look at a new jeep, to check it out. i idnt have time ntill now to take a look. and i decieded that this would be a great apportunity to meet new jeepers.

for a cheap lift cruise around the JU for sale list and you should be able to find something for a few bucks. but hell if you work at a machine shop i'm sure you could barter out some work for a free lift.

Welcome,I started with the same platform, 4banger and atuomatic I have found some good upgrades and others that was a waist of time and money.If you have a ? just ask .

Well before you start putting serious money in the a jeep with a 4 banger I would think about selling to for a 6 cylinder 4.0. If your still willing to work with the lack of horse power and torque (many great rigs run the 2.5). Your in the right place to figure what you will need and how to make it all come together.

or build it with the thought of putting a v8 in it down the road

Yeah I forgot to make that point. Always a great thing to do but hard to make street legal. But 4.0 swaps are common and not that hard if you do your home work and have everything you need.

You should be fine with 33's and the 4 cylinder if you gear the axles to 4:88's.

or ill juust put a desail in hehe. i got a 4inch and 33. i think i jumped in to oon.
