Nick wants to go to Kentucky

So to Kentucky from Ashburn is right around 500+ miles at 8-9mpg towing with the van that means I need 55-60 gallons of gas to get down there alone 110-120 round trip that means I need somewhere around 500 bucks in fuel alone to go. That does not include hotels, food, dues to play, random crap I will buy cause if I dont find something Nick will. If I go it would have to be for at least 3 days of wheeling and 2 days driving. So I would like to leave thursday and come home monday. I'm not a 100% that I can make this trip but we can get some ideas and see who all is in for the trip. Oh just to be clear I'm not driving 8-9 hours and spending what could be 1000 bucks for a trip to run greens and blues. Rigs must be in good condition and ready to hold up to a couple of days of good wheeling.

Really depends on the timing but I would like to go as well, preferably after the rain stops. so late spring early summer? I've been really looking forward to getting out there sometime.

Sign me up. I haven't been on the forum for a couple days and I missed this. I was always excited about a trip out there and after talking to the guy at York Jeep Show it's a must. Tellico was #1 but not after the greenies ruined it

May for Kentucky? I'm trying to plan this around Big Dogs Icebreaker. That is normally the 3rd? weekend of April. A month of recovery = third or even last week of May? I think that'd be an excellent time to go.

I'm good with that. I can plan on it for know and hope that all is well in the spring that I can make this trip happen for me.
