I wonder about the pirate review on the pitbull tires. if someone gives you a set of tires to "review" doesn't that make you a little biased? This is assuming that he was given the tires. I wonder if he still runs them now?
Rob, are you runninng a 15" wheel?

Good point bill how often to you see a review that also has all the specs for the tires at the end. But I guess that doesn't mean they aren't good tires it would be neat to see a different tire.

I have a set of 4 irocs on 15s in my basement. They have about 70% life left in them. 15 x 8 american racing steelies...

Have been holding onto them for a rainy day, and running the 5th one on my comp rig now.... That would be the drivers side tire in my avatar...

Yeah, for nitto 38X15.50R15C2 123P
Actual dimentions 37.6 x 15.5 on a 11-13" wide rim.

But if it were my choice I would go with the Rockers. good match to the V8. Would look and sound awesome coming down the road with the V8 humming with the tires....as long as the driver has enough balls to use it! jocolor

In all honesty I can't say which I would choose if money wasn't a issue. I will be honest with the fact that I'm bias towards the Iroks but that is because its the tire that I see the most when I wheel and they are affordable in my opinion. I would love to see a trail rig with Red labels wheeling.

gotta remember that the krawlers are in a different category. they are terrain specific tires and just 'okay" on everything else. I didn't suggest the krawlers to Rob because he is a "wheeling slut", he will do any terrain. Krawlers are awesome and I wouldnt' trade them for anything because I can accept their shortcomings on everything else, i don't do much mud in the YJ and it was specifically build for rocks and thats why it wears krawlers. The CJ is primarily a mud vehicle and thats why it wears swampers and I will accept it's shortcomings with everything else. CJ not designed to flex a lot, not needed in mud so probably sucks on rocky trails and i can accept that. Rob the Rockers or the Iroks would do just fine for you and is honestly just a matter of personal opinion.
