| Well, Elva convinced me to get my ass in gear and fix my pos Jeep. It was quite a journey LOL. I didn't want to wheel with a stock shaft but Rob told me to give Eric at EMS a buzz. He sacrificed an axle he somewhat needed for me so I could make it out and wheel...hell of a guy!!! Plan is to throw that bitch in on Friday night...hopefully somebody can help with the ujoints because I'm not too confident with that  While taking the Jeep apart I tried to get lucky pulling out the broken stub of the shaft with a magnet but all I managed to do was wedge it sideways. Kind of tough to extract on the long side and get through the axle seal. This made it a little tricky to get the carrier out but i managed to pry the shims out and get some wiggle room. Then, big mother fucking surprise, the cock sucking arb seals housing broke. I felt it when i had to pull it out of the hole in the diff but just kind of tried to fool myself that it was fine...no such luck. I was gonna give up and just piss on the Jeep or beat it with the broken axle shaft but I decided to try and locate a seal housing. I managed to find one at OK4WD so I drove down there on Wednesday morning ~60 miles each way. Got back and it was the wrong mother fucker. So now instead of pissing on the Jeep I wanted to shit on it and then beat the guy at OK4WD with my axle shaft. Decided to suck it up...they had the seal I needed so I drove my dumb ass back there in this morning. She's almost back together...just got the carrier in and line hooked up...no leaks, looking good.  Matt's heading up my way tonight...we'll see you fuckers in the am. Unfortunately, no Julie. She couldn't get out of work and has 2 wicked finals on Monday to study for. | |

| Count me out for wheeling Saturday. Still coming up tomorrow for the race though & may stay the night still..we haven't decided. Definitely have to make a trip to Cabela's one of the two days. Are we meeting in the parking lot area and what time? | |
