| For those of you that have singers on your rigs, would you please post 2 measurements for me if you have the time: 1. the measurement of the stinger from one end to the center of the loop 2. from the top of the loop to the grill guard Thanks! _________________ 93YJ, D60 front, 9" rear, ARB front/rear, 4.56, 38" Super Swamper TSLs, SOA, RaceCraft seats with harnesses, crusher corners, custom tube fenders & cage 02 Tahoe with Rancho lift 02 Ram Air Trans Am

| You should do a search. Then see the ones you like and make or have one made that suits your wants and needs. I know that you can buy them but most of the guys that make them for there own rigs have reason to make each different. _________________ 94YJ Tera low 4:1, 4:10's, HP D44 front locked, 8.8 rear locked, 37" Truxus M/T's, custom spring over front/spring under rear, along with other stuff (Trail rig) 00WJ open/open, lifted 31" MTR's (curbcrawler) 84 Toyota Pickup open front, welded rear, 63" chevy rear springs, propane injection, 37" mtr's, 4.7:1 Tcase 07 FORD E350 SD (TOW VAN)

| Actually I've already started making one. Bent the tube at Bill's a long time ago. I bent it too far and ended up using the trailer and the winch to spread it back out the other day. The problem is I think it is too long. No matter which way I angle it, something just doesn't look right. I don't want to cut it until I'm sure that is the problem. I've taken pictures of ones I like but they aren't helping, that's why I wanted some measurements. The one I like the best is Chuck's. _________________ 93YJ, D60 front, 9" rear, ARB front/rear, 4.56, 38" Super Swamper TSLs, SOA, RaceCraft seats with harnesses, crusher corners, custom tube fenders & cage 02 Tahoe with Rancho lift 02 Ram Air Trans Am

| Kat the stinger reallly doens't have a lot of purpose. it is rare that it would actually prevent a rollover, may throw you to the side instead. Makes a good strap point on occasion. Go with what looks good to you. |

Man some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed Basically what were saying is that they are worthless and what ever numbers that you come up with will work fine as long as it doesn't look to goofy. if your that worried about it bring it to my shop we'll hook a chain to the back of your jeep and hang it in an endo style so you can get some true measurements. _________________ "A yahoo made dangerous with power tools" MARR step up or step out Who me? | The width is normally the frame width. I only use my stinger for bumping people, well nick uses it to bump his own jeep. I did hear a good idea about how to use it to aid in taking a shit in the woods. Mine will probably come off soon if you want it. _________________ I'm dumb

No shit, Sherlock. The problem is just what you said - "it looks goofy". I already have the tube the right width & it has the bend I want (so thanks Matt but I'm all set). No matter what angle I put it at, it doesn't look right. I think it's probably just too long. The numbers will help me compare what I have to how others are set up...then I'll have an idea of what I need to do. It's for looks only. I want one - nuff said. I'm not building it for function. So if y'all don't wanna help, I'll just take a tape measure to Big Dogs and charm some other guys into letting me measure theirs. _________________ 93YJ, D60 front, 9" rear, ARB front/rear, 4.56, 38" Super Swamper TSLs, SOA, RaceCraft seats with harnesses, crusher corners, custom tube fenders & cage 02 Tahoe with Rancho lift 02 Ram Air Trans Am

| You can bust whatever you want...I can take it. Shouldn't be in this group if you can't handle abuse. But last I checked, aren't we supposed to help each other when someone asks for it? _________________ 93YJ, D60 front, 9" rear, ARB front/rear, 4.56, 38" Super Swamper TSLs, SOA, RaceCraft seats with harnesses, crusher corners, custom tube fenders & cage 02 Tahoe with Rancho lift 02 Ram Air Trans Am

| I would appreciate that - thank you. I was able to get some numbers and I can already tell from those that my pipe is about 3 inches too long at each end. _________________ 93YJ, D60 front, 9" rear, ARB front/rear, 4.56, 38" Super Swamper TSLs, SOA, RaceCraft seats with harnesses, crusher corners, custom tube fenders & cage 02 Tahoe with Rancho lift 02 Ram Air Trans Am
