The driveshaft brake kind gets in the road you can get cadilac calipers with the e-brake on them or mechanical line locks

I strongly agree, works with the YJ anyway but I don't think that will pass inspection.

I forget where I saw this idea, maybe Pirate. Anyway, they took their e-brake cable and routed it back through the firewall just in front of the brake pedal and attached it to the pedal.

Not sure if it would pass or not, or if it is even a good idea. Just thought I would throw it out there.

Brian.

I was just reading a thread on pirate the other day which had a shut off valve plumbed to the cutting brakes. Didn't find what I'm thinking of yet...

The High Angle Driveline pinion brake is not going to work, not anywhere even close to being enough room to fit in there. Back to 2 choices,
1. line lock
2. caddy calipers

I've yet to see a set of Eldorado calipers that would hold a rig on even a moderate hill. If it's only for some kind of road inspection, then OK, but they suck otherwise.

I have a ball-valve on my rear brake line and it works, though I don't trust it (my own paranoia). It ends up being used more for doing front digs.

Then by all means...

The Eldo calipers are hydraulically the same as the Chevy monte Carlo calipers Toyota guys use all the time for rear discs.. 1" bore MC works really well.
