4:1 kit for the 231

i remember seeing a post some were that a company sells the 4:1 kit for the 231 at a pretty cheap price. does anyone remember the name of the company?

4x4 group buy just got back to me and quoted me 899.95 compared to sams 975.95.

We put one from them in chucks jeep 3 or 4 years ago we couldn't see anything wrong but a couple of scratches on the new case

his input shaft probably will not fit mine, I need the long input shaft and most 4.0 jeeps have short inputs.

The 4 to 1 is worth its weight in gold. Not bullet proof as Nick can tell you. Worth it non the less for swap in crawling gears.

funny you say that nester, I'm working on something right now that will be swap in crawling gears that will give you what ever ratio you want (that can be adjusted to taylor to what ever trail you want) and will also strengthen your stock axles and make your driveline a little more bullet proof. Yes you read that right i'm trying to make the d35 a little more realiable. I cant go into to much detail because were still working on the proto type and waiting on the patent. But were hoping to have a working model in time for big dogs to show off and hopefully go into production this winter sometime if things go well.

the first proto type will hopefully be produced in two weeks. Once its produced and the patent pending is in affect ill give alot more detail. Also we got something else in the works that will be a first for MD. But that's on the back burner till we get this first proto type out. though there has been a shit load of red tape on that it looks like we may see a little light at the end of the tunnel.
