Got a ride in a Tesla today at work. It belongs to one of the owner's son.
Its all electric and goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. Its completely silent except for the wind noise and the sound of the tires on the road.
No tranny so you dont feel any shifts. You just have a push button for R, N and D. The whole body is made out of carbon fiber so its pretty light. The trunk is all batteries and under the hood is just A/C and steering
I never heard of one until today and at $150k that's gonna be the last time I'll be in one.
