PostSubject: New trail put of the Quarry   Sun Apr 27, 2008 8:52 pm

Nester, Paul, Chris(monster S10) and myself ran the new trail today jus finished yesterday what a blast that is in my opinion the hardest trail RC has to offer and we will run it again it is very technical and dont expect to exit without any dents Nester lost windshield frame complete top, Paul just rearanged his entire XJ the s10 exo took a beating and I lost windshield frame and hood has new dent But I have to say it was one of best days ever..... 9

I'm working on the pictures. The trail was kick ass. Lucky for me I have a back up top for the jeep and the windshield frame took a beating but I can bend it back for work for another couple of beatings. Today along with the lazy wheeling we did just Rob, Amy, Emily and Myself had a blast camping and enjoying the rain under the van lean to.

Rob might have some pictures up that amy took. I'm not sure if Paul or anyone else took pictures of the trail ride. I would say that if you care anything about the body of your rig or aren't running the right kinda gear that you should stay away from that trail. I will run it again with a small group but not till I get my cage and remove the windsheild.

I think that is the one in south park that starts with a hill climb in back of the quarry. that hill climb has been claiming some tires from the cut of saplings.

Lots of trees and off camber. Its the hill climb in the back of the quarry. Oh yeah dont forget we where the first ones to make it thru the trail. Its just a down right bad idea. Its a red trail with out a doubt. Unless they cut some trees down it will damage your rig in someway no way around it. Thats how it got its name BAD IDEA.

I love the name and I look forward to getting into that. However, trails like that make me never want to replace my windshield!!!

Chris had the idea of making it removable. That way you can have it when the weather sucks then take it off when you dont need it when its time to play with the big boys.
