| | Was talking to my wife - I just got a cherokee for her to drive but its not armored up so it would be ok for greens, questionable for blues. Got to finish off the kitchen but mark us as tentitive anyway. |

| is it club only? if not I would like to do it. the lift will be on this Saturday and I am looking to really get some off-road in.
I would be in a Grand Cherokee 3.5" lift and 31" muds. So greens and light blues would be good!
Post some more info and which day. Saturday I can do it but Sunday My uncle wants to prove how much better his H3 is.
Mostly, where is it?
and yes, this would be the Cherokee's first real trail ride. |

No it's not club only..we're just wanting to play.

Looks like Saturday is the consensus...and the time will be whatever
we can agree on....I like 8:30 - 9ish.
If you don't already have one in there....get a cb before going.

| google maps says its a 2 hour drive so I will leave at 6.
Getting the Cherokee back from the shop tomorrow from the alignment and I will stop by radio shack and pick up a CB+Antenna
So, I am 17, I bring the parental waiver, entrance money, jack, full size spare, 4 way, fire extinguisher, and a general tool bucket. Good to go?
PS: may be able to convince my uncle and his stock h3 to come up aswell. I am sure that can take greens and some blues.

Hey dude I dont want to be the bad guy or anything here but you might want to check with Lynn at Rausch. I would hate to see you get turned around cause your not old enough. You seem pretty level headed and your going prepared. I just dont want to see someone kill your good time. Bringing your uncle is a good idea that might end up being your ticket in. Like I said I just dont want to see someone turn you back around cause your age.

| Well S.n.o.w., Nester is right, their is a liability issue when it comes to young ones both for the Park and the club. A person younger than 18 years old should have a parent or older relative with them of any function regaurding the off road acticity, this is to protect your interests as well as that of the Park. We don't have many of these parks around and we would like to keep this on a while.
For policy and regualtions see the Rausch Creek park web site by clicking the icon on the home page, there you can read about all the issues before you. I wsh you well, and maybe meet sometime.
Thanks kNester for taking the lead on this, I just got home form the Creek, looks like 2 beers and the good food knocked me out for the night earlier than I expected. All that fresh air didn't help!

| it seems like I just need the waiver but I will make sure to call and actually hear it from a real person 
edit: just sent an email, thanks for the heads up about this. That woulda been a waste of a 2 hour drive.
edit 2: I got the email back and all I have to do is bring the waiver. I hate when age gets in the way of things like this, you shoulda seen the looks on the insurance peoples face when I said I wanted it all in my name. 
Edit 3: got the cb installed, no idea how to use it but its in there and working!
