I guess to took the idea of a slow build and thru it out the window. You will be on TOY axles and 35's before the end of the year.

Did they change axles in 86? There is an 86 on craigslist for 500. Says rotten frame, good running gear.

Its under baltimore used cars on the 24th.

In 86 they went to IFS and made the rear axle wider to match the width. You can get an IFS rear but then but a kit to widen your pre 86 rear.

Take a look on Paragon's website under suv for sale.. couple of listings for toyota axles showed up today.
I would paste a link but i just got a new laptop with vista and for the best of me I can not figure out how to cut and paste...

I got an 86 which means its even wider to match up with an IFS front which is just fine. Now Im looking for a front axle Smile
