| what causes the light that shows if u are engaged in 4x4 h or l. if i pull the stick up no light comes on. soo is that a bad thing if u pull the stick up and your 4x4 light doesnt come on. | |

| Hmmm, been awhile since stock axles but in the YJ I think there was a wire that went down to the front axle that would trigger the light. TJ I'm not sure. | |

| NOt sure which heep model this is but looks newer. they mention a 4x4 switch on the tcase. read through the link and it may save you some headache.

| The light is worthless. I covered mine years ago to mount my XM radio. Its just a light that in the TJ I believe works off a hookup on the T-case | |
