| Well I picked up my higher steer crossover this morning it is complete except for rod ends. Should I go with GM rod ends or Heim joints ?

| i prefer tie rod ends, they last longer, and are able to be lubricated, heims tend to wear fast, and are expensive to replace, i use 3/4 ton chevy ends on my jeep. | |

| Last longer???? Maybe under normal conditions. I would think the heim would last longer due to strength.. | |

| I guess it depends on what you like to run. How often you clean and maintenance your rig. I went with tie rod ends for my high steer on my Dana 44 and also with the toyota. | |

| I also run the chevy tie rod ends and have beat the snot out of them without issues. The front axle was built by Full Circle Performance and I respect their decisions. I bought high steer arms for the CJ project and will be using chevy tie rod ends on that as well. Only one of each needed for a spare for both jeeps. If you end up needing to replace one because of breakage where will you get a spare heim joint? Tie rod ends can be picked up at just about any auto parts store. | |
