well i did install the newer tranny that i bought, i figured best to scrap the old one. this one has really nice bright fluid in it ( looks good ).i hooked up my 208 transfer case instead on the 205 for now because i have 3 of them laying around and i want the lower gear of 2.6 rather than 1.99.(curious to see the difference on the rocks) i just wont have the twin stick. now the to do list...... 1-put my skid plate back on under the tranny,
2-make a new skid for under the engine and 208 case.
3-hook up tranny cooler lines (not going to overheat this one)
4-change tranny filter
5-make new rear driveshaft
6-make new 1-link crossbrace on frame (i am relocating it under the rear driveshaft for protection right above the new skid support i will put in)
7-hook shifter cable back up
8-fix drivers side cage to make it easier to get in and out
9- re-route my drivers side exhaust pipe
...........this is all i can think of at this time.........
BOY THE LIST ADDS UP QUICK

.....AND IF I DECIDE TO MAKE TIME FOR IT, I WANT TO MAKE MUD FENDERS TO REMOVE AFTER THE MUD BOGS 9

Did you already weld the rear axle back in? Are you running 2 more arms to the bottom of the axle to keep the torque from twisting the axle off the weld? sounds like a plan.
