| Once again a FANTASTIC time was had at big dogs. Had a great time wheeling and just hanging out. We have a really good group of people here. Thanks again Joe and Mandy for an excellent dinner saturday night! I look forward to the Main Jamboree in Sept! Hope everyone can make it then. I have 3 GB of video to go through and break down. Photobucket only accepts up to 100 MB at a time. I should have time to get them up on tuesday. Those that left early and didn't wheel sunday you missed a really good obstacle on Bunny trail. Got some new body damage on the passenger side. Rear tube fender was squashed into the body but not a big deal. | |

| Thanks everyone for a great weekend. This is a an event that we will be making at least once a year. Joe and Mandy thanks again for the great meal I never knew you could have a better than steakhouse meal in the mountains. It was a surprise for me and a good one at that. You are good people for feeding all those people. The campground was great they could teach echo valley a thing or two. The trails were great cant wait to see more of them some day. The nite run was different not sure what I think about it yet. Or maybe it had something to do with Lug Nut thinking he was in a nite time KOH Qual.Nick never a dull moment with you buddy you know how to have fun. Well anyway everyone here in northeast PA are home safe. I hope everyone else had fun and is home safe. Now time to get a shower in my shower , a #2 in my bowl and to sleep in my bed, it is always fun to go places but it seems its always nice to be home when its over. Thanks again everyone for a good time and here are our pics and one short video of the master Bill and his throttle control http://picasaweb.google.com/toyota327/BigDogsSpring09# http://picasaweb.google.com/toyota327/BigDogsSpring09#5344761315788799426 | |

| As usual, another awesome time at Big Dogs. I'm really glad you guys made it and had a good time. You too Nester, it's about god damn time!!!! As always, a huge thanks to joe and mandy for that kickass dinner and breakfast!! It was great to see everyone and Rob, I think you can understand why i was on you so hard to get to big dogs! I'm glad you had a good time. Sorry for buzzing away on that night run lets just say I was a little over excited Everyone of these trips serves as a great reminder to how good our group is. We can always make the best out of the worst weather, carnage, and whatever else and always have a blast. | |

| Yeah first I would like to thank Mandy and Joe for the food. I have never had a better dinner after wheeling and at camp made it even better.
Next I would like to thank Chris and everyone that bailed my ass out when I thought I could take a 2x4 van up to camp 8 in the rain. Suck that the tow rig isn't 4x4 but its good to have friends that are there to bail you out. Thanks
Everyone that was there. Thank you for the great company and great times. Nick night runs are the shit. Even better when I beat your drunk ass up the hill in your rig. I never knew that I had such great trails so close to home. The Cove is great camping and with the trails so close it makes for great events.
Once at home Em and I figured that it is a 50 minute average ride and the van with all the gear, trail and toyota only used a half a tank of gas. That vs. going to RC mean that I will be making a point of going to more Big Dogs events in the future cause the 250+ mile trip to rausch creek and 5+ hours ride I save money wheeling Big Dogs.
Once again thanks guys I will be trying to get pics up soon.
BIG DOGS FUCKIN RULES!!!!!!!!

| This is what I came home to. It was right before the turn to my house. The road was closed about 2-3 miles up the road where I had to sit for close to an hour. I was not happy.

| It was great seeing everybody again. I'm glad all of the Big Dog "newbies" loved it and will be coming back for more. We really do have an awesome group! Nester, as Nick said "it's about damn time" but now you know what all the fuss was about and we won't have to get on your ass about it anymore. Even though we weren't there very long, it was still another great trip for me. The night run was awesome - especially hearing all you guys yelling "Big Dogs Rules!". V trail was just gorgeous with the water running down and the lights reflecting on everything. Kudos on whoever picked that one. I'm glad I was behind Chuck so I could see even more with his ground lights...very cool. That was the first time I had done a night run that actually had some real obstacles. I'm glad the Jeep broke on Canyon instead of that one...trying to fix it in the dark in running water would have sucked!! Von heard one of the leafs fall off on the way down V trail and wondered what was causing the noises he was hearing. I said don't worry about it until it breaks. Thanks to Von & Chris for getting the axle back where it belonged so I didn't have to sleep on the trail. It was awesome to wake up and find my Jeep was already under repair. Thanks again to Von and Roger for getting her all patched up and to Rob for giving them the center pin to fix it with. That made my day. You guys rock! Oh, and thanks Joe for the loaner turtle. I'll try to get my pics up later today when I get home and don't have dial-up to deal with. I have some great ones of Bill.

http://www.readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=142153 That sucks but better to have to wait than to be the one in the accident. Glad you (and everyone else from this weekend) got home safe.

| Other than busting my driverside window and a little issue with over heating the toyota took a good beating. I hope to have a hand throtle and trail doors by the next Big Dogs event. If I get luck and land some side work I might get the longs and a locker for the front. | |

| Because a 44s studs are so much stronger. That would have never happened if i had a 44 with spacers and nuts on the wrong way.
Hand throttle is a waste if you ask me. I only ever use it if i'm running the OBA. Nicki likes playing with it though. That Toyota was impressive as hell i like it!!

| Yeah I know alot of guys that never use there hand throttle and even some like Bill that just never bought one and learned to drive with out it. I have one in the jeep and it helps alot when you trying not to stall and dont have three feet. After driving your rig on the night run I really want 4:88's for the wrangler and then when we drove in Matts TJ it made me want the doubler in the toy but I'm thinking for now a hand throttle is my best option for the cost of nothing if I find someone with a old 10 speed. I'm loving the toyota. Part of me wants to be in the jeep but the toyota is fun to beat on. | |

| You just have to get the hang of getting on the brake and gas together. Mine came off of rich's rig and i put it on for just cranking up the r's to get the tank to fill faster. I have a harder time with the hand throttle than I do without it just feels unnatural. | |

| I do like my hand throttle but it does take some time to get used to it and remember its there. There are sometimes I couldn't be with out it. It's all in your style and what you are used to. | |

| The only time I can think of that I used it is if your front and is way high in the air and you can't reach the pedals right. I like the way yours is though Chuck seems like you'd have a little better control with it. | |
