| I traded away the YJ today for this: Its a 1979 F150 with a 351M D44 in the fron and a 9" in the rear. Somebody restored it a few years ago and overall it seems to be in pretty good shape. Its LOUD though... all the neighbors hate it already. I was able to walk in and get historic tags for it today too. | |

| Hell if I know... no plans really. I'll just drive it around on weekends for now I guess... The DMV made it very clear... No hauling stuff with historic tags, so tow rig is out. Karen said "Great! Now our driveway is completely redneck" I dont know what she meant by that cause aint none of them vehicles sittin on jack stands no more... | |

| Cool, should be a sweet old truck. Would have made a great driveline to go in to a old YJ. | |

| Joe does have a good idea there. But I bet you could sell that truck for enough to build some 60's | |

| YEEE Hawww! I just drove it for the first time tonight after work around the neighborhood. That fucker is loud! It sounds Freakin' awesome! It would start to die at stop lights and stop signs so I had to keep my left foot on the brake and rev with the right. Oh well.... At least the P.O.S. runs. | |

| Try the carb cleaner first. Then you might have to adjust the idle screw if that doesn't work. | |

| That is one of the few Fords I like!!!! I honestly don't think there is a better looking old truck, I love them!! Good find! Gotta love the 3 footed driving. That's how i learned the "tow-heel" technique. My first vehicle was a 92 pathfinder, stick, and it hated to idle on some days!! | |

| Kinda of a bummer you went and got the new truck. That tuck wouldn't be a bad tow rig with a little work. I like that blue color. How are would it be to put normal tags on that truck. It might not be a bad idea for when you need a 4x4 tow rig. I know there is plenty of times I wish the van was a 4x4. Over all I like it I would said that was a worthy trade. | |

| Danny, your driveway is starting to look like mine. I must be a bad influence. Check out the new home for my car with her roommates: | |

| I thought so too. That is the first time I've seen all 3 of them together. The '64 is still my favorite though. | |

| Well I made a tire/wheel trade to get this old hunk o junk looking a little better... They are some off brand 37"s that look kinda like groundhogs. Whatever they are they look better than bald 33"s. It's heading to craigslist soon - want to trade it for something a little more fam friendly like a pop up camper... and I think its about time that my neighbor bought a new roof... | |
