But if your going to throw in your girlfriend, how about adding on a cherry too? Say the family dog licking my balls? But in all fun 'n games aside, a deal could be worked out

| See, now you have exposed yourself as a stingy brat. At least you could have offered up some blow, murder for hire, rusty knife back alley abortions, a kidney, your mom/sister/both, you know anything you got just laying around. This isn’t the current administration around here. If you are going to keep asking for cookies out of the jar you’ve got to step up your game and start pimping your wears. Do you know how to work the equipment you are asking for or are we providing the talent too? What can you offer us besides train station bathroom stall blow jobs? | |

| I had a continuation/follow up to one of our projects over in Korea. Apparently I need to work a few more hours if I am going to be supplying everyone with steak.
While I was gone my 40 spline ARB came in from the machine shop. I’m going to install it right away. The last few parts came in for the supercharger as well. I’m holding off on its install for a winter project.

Could offer a murder for hire, or a back alley abortion with a choat hanger. Coming off rude and shitty like that wasnt the intent. My bad. I would be glad to throw down almost whatever is in reason. Yes I know how to work everything. My math isnt that great so so figuring out the bends would take me awhile. That damn dyslexia. But once again, my bad for sonuding like a DB, wasnt my intent to come off like some bitch ass kid/brat/pussy ass motherfawker. To bad it ended up that way

If after pouring a quart through your pump you can't remember if the fluid was red or clear I'm damn sure not going to let you near my tools. Good luck.

| This might be a free board to all but that doesn't mean you wont get shit for saying dumb shit. Wait till you do something dumb on the trail. We will ride your ass for days on the smallest things. Thats just how we are, get used to it. I suggest you just put your flame suit on and deal with it. Your not in the inner circle yet rookie. | |

Naw I get that, you cant ask for respect, you have to earn it. I expect to get shit for the little things cause I'm new. Thats just the way everything works, not just on this site. However I didnt expect Hunt to blow it up that big, but like you said, you'll ride my ass for days over the stupid shit, so I had that one coming. As of yesterday I cant afford to do a cage now because my towrig broke down so I gotta spend the money on the cage to fix that. Oh well, thats life.

| Many of us on here make a living with our tools and our talents. Our tools represent a significant investment. It's taken us years to gather equipment and knowledge. If you don't have a tool you go buy it, if you can't afford to purchase it then you keep saving or you pay someone who has spent their money. When people ask to use our tools without offering up anything it like asking for a handout. It's like taking food out of our kids mouths.
There was a time in this country with people traded skills rather than money. It's not all about the money, but damn things are tight right now. When someone I don't know asks to us my welder do they think about what it costs me to turn it on. Argon, tungsten, filler rod, the electricity, the cost of the machine, consumables like the cups, etc. and thats just one tool. If I am going to let you come into my shop and use my equipment I need to know you are a standup guy. If you brake my welder I need to know you will fix it or the next time I go to use in, I'm up the creek. I can not afford to let an acquaintance jeopardize my investments.
I'm all about helping my friends. I guess what I am telling you is spend some time here to get to know some of us before you go asking for things. If I get to know you and I like you then I would have no problem helping you out.
I realize your intention was not to reach into anyone's pocket. But that is just it, think about what you are asking for before you speak.

I realize your intention was not to reach into anyone's pocket. But that is just it, think about what you are asking for before you speak. Yea thats very understandable and I guess it all came out wrong. I'm not one to use someone elses tools and make a mess of there shit. I used to have it all back and Cali but couldnt take it with when I moved. If I were ever to brake something of someone elses it would be a hands down fix it, or buy a new one. Thats the way I've always been with my shit. Back home this kinda stuff was a walk aronud the corner in a garage, we didnt make a living with the tools we had, we just had they to work on our own jeeps and yotas, I didnt realize that (well seems like) everyone on here makes their living off their tools. Thats my bad, I thought maybe someone would have had shit at home and wouldnt mind spending an afternoon wrenching, my fault. And I'm not that much of a dumbass, nothing in life is free, you gotta work for it, or in this case make some sort of contribution/payment or use of tools. Wasnt trying to make it sound like a hand out, I can be horrible with wording things. Right now I'm out 200+ for my dodge so the cage idea is out the door if I want to fix the other crap on my yota before the next trip... And also get my trailer set up so I dont get pulled over again.

| I most have a problem with this kind of situation because i have alot friends & family most of them understand this how i make a living . Chuck & Rob are about the only ones that have full acess to my garage because they help me out when ever they can & they understand the fact that I have about a $100,000 invested in equipment & pay about $2500 every month in bills for the shop that is about double with the hose bills. With this shitty economy that really sucks big ASS. I would love to be able to help everybody but that just does'nt pay the bills . | |
