| Nester and Emily, Kim, Me and Elva. Played around the comp area in the snow drifts for awhile. up to 2-3 feet was ok but trying to blast in 3rd gear through a 4' drift doesn't work. Tried to grind my jeep out of the hole, had traction that would move me forward and back a a little. Then forward again and "CRACK" something failed under the jeep. Still had 1st gear and all the wheels were spinning so tried reverse and it would pop out. So I held it in reverse and it got stuck there. Wouldn't come out of reverse and putting tcase in neutral didn't help. Pulled it out of the snow with 2 winches and had Nester push me forward and then I could get it out of reverse again. Still had all forward gears so we wheeled anyway. cut new paths through the fresh snow, about 18-24 inches on access trails C, D, E etc. nester blasted a path and we followed. Kim was having a blast slinging snow. got to frog hole and the hill nearby. I couldn't pass up an attempt. Took awhile and got within a few feet of the top before the front shaft came apart.(front suck down winch wasn't working). Long story short it was a lot of work getting me back out of that hole in 2wd. Thanks Nester, Emily and Kim for your help and patience. 1st round is on me! | |

| Well Sunday didn't go much better. Nick got to the pole line and blew the T-case on his YJ. Rob had to pull him back to the trailer. Nick packed up and went home around 11. Rob, Kim, Emily and I just drove around till 2 or so and then we got loaded up and came home. I always hate leaving early but not having to drive home in the dark is always a plus. | |

| I had fun blazing the trail through the fresh snow and then...busted! The tcase kept popping out of 4lo when I was trying to get through the snow to the top of the hill climbs on the pole line. I got it back in a few times and then 1 final pop and it was over, nothing but neutral. Could no longer shift the tcase passed the neutral position either. Luckily it wasn't a bad recovery to the trailer. Wasn't too bad getting home early and relaxing the rest of the day either. The snow really whooped my ass during the week. I'll post pics once I get home. | |

| Wish you where close to me. I want to pull that Tcase out and see whats the deal with it. I bet its not as bad as you think. but if its the gear and chain that broke I will be doing the up grade to mine before it happens to me. | |

| It always sucks on the parking lot. Once we got in to the woods it was okay as long as you didn't have to fight thru the snow to winch and drag the broke suckers out of the woods. | |
