That AGR Ram needs some cialis..

Pulled the distributer and discovered the problem. Just as was suspected the camshaft position sensor was not functioning. Look closely at the pictures below. You can see inside the distributer a crack through the entire sleeve of the sensor. Also at the magnets the sensor is pushed out away from the metal rail under the rotor. also not pictured is the inside magnet was busted in half. seems to have self destructed, how random is that?

I replaced teh distributer and it started right up. Took off the hood and threw it upside down on the lawn and stomped it into proper form. also bent the master cyl and brake booster back up into position and took the master cyl cap off and smashed it back out to proper form. Took a test drive and it's ready to run. Runs much stronger that it has in quite a while.

Awesome news Bill. Jason said his was just like that. He pulled up to the gate of his place down in DE shut off the Jeep and it wouldn't restart. Never happens at a good time LOL.

yeah I think I'm just going to change mine. if that happened to me would would have downed that bottle of jack I had.

FYI the 93 model has the cam position sensor built into the distributer. 95 model has teh sensor as an independent replaceable part. not sure about the 94 but i did hear that they are interchangeable. I wasn't sure about the cap so i bought the stock replacement.

Thanks for the tip. I think its going to be all items I get for christmas this year.
