Memorial Day Weekend cookout SUNDAY 30th!

Official announcement.
Sunday May 30th from 1 p.m. til 8 (ish) p.m. (gives me time to get the fire out before going to bed)
We will provide the main dish CRABS!
Please bring a side to share.
I'm buying the beer.
Pool is open, sorta. its ready but the concrete work has not been done yet and no stairs.

Hopefully tubing will be there, we will party anyway. Need a list of who is in or not so I know how much an which kind of food/beverage to get.

I'll be there. I'm gonna try to bring some kind of female with me - ya know, gotta give the appearance that I'm not completely lame.

I'll bring some brownies. (No, not 'special' brownies, wise-asses!)

Oh, and - uhhh.....have LOTS of crabs!!!

As for sunday I just didn't want to say I was going to show up and not (aka pull a nester ) So i figured I just play it by ear. Ill be at RC saturday and i know that the zj guys will want me to run sunday. So ill just have to play it by ear and see how everything plays out.

So far this is all I have? Will the steel be here?

That is unknown at this point in time.... I'm told it will be in this week, but a delivery date is unknown to me (because it's unknown to Alex). I will do what I can to have it on hand by Sunday.

Ok that bites though. You could cancel the order and pick it up at Dillsburg for cheaper? they also have it in stock. I'd really like to get the whole group together. We could reschedule for another weekend without a problem if everyone has something else going on?

We would love to have ya'll up here. Whatever time you get here is fine, there will be plenty of crabs. I'm thinking a bushel of crabs and a new recipe called a bacon and sausage explosion!

Can't really cancel - the order has been placed, so if I bail on it, I'm sticking my friend with a +$2000 order.


This is the fourth time I've shopped around for, and bought, steel. Each time, Alex has been the cheapest. This is the first time that the order took longer than a week, and the first time he couldn't tell me a delivery date. I'm being flexible since he's treated me all along. Yes, he's down in Charlotte, NC, and yes, that is a bit of a drive. But, a.) I don't mind, b.) it's a gorgeous drive, and c.) I like to check out what he's doing in the shop every now and then (he's got a SICK mess of a JK in there now....I'll snap some pics when I go down). Plus, he is the only stocked east coast distributor of Ballistic Fab stuff - I owe nearly 90% of my rig's entire suspension (the hardware) to him. I also get anything Trail Gear from him, too.

(Oh, and if you're referring to someone named Mike (in Dillsburg), he was not cheaper.)
