| So I need to fix the nerf damage from the race. Thinking about cutting from about 6" from the ends and use 1.5" tube at each end to sleeve a new piece of 1.75 DOM in? comments? | |

| Slug the tube leave a gap so the ends of the tube are welded to the slug & drill 4 offset holes in the original tube & replacement tube & weld the holes to the slugs | |

| Thanks, just what I was thinking. If my thinking is right I need 1.5" DOM for the slugs since I'm running 1.75 1/8 tube. | |
