| Rausch was packed today! we had a good group for Ryans maiden voyage. We headed to "O" trail where I led onto the rocks and promptly broke, yep first obstacle. Rear yoke on the atlas failed after the U-joint failed. My day was over until Jeff Gehrlein mentioned he had a yoke in his jeep, just so happens to be exactly the same size and spline that I needed. THANK YOU JEFF! got moving again and headed over to Cemetery on the south property. On the way Chris Rufner. broke a front driveshaft, the bolts worked out and bent his cable shifters. We had some spare parts but unable to make repairs so his day was done. Ran cemetery and Chuck heard an odd noise, front axleshaft was failing. He had parts to replace so after another short stop we were on our way. Headed to the west property to run trail 20. I was spotting Ryan over a boulder obstacle when his fan broke and the blade severely damaged his radiator. Chris Riley tried to pinch off the channels wtihout much success, dumped in the radiator stop lead without success so I drove with him out of the park while Chris and Chuck continued down 20 to Rock Creek. Kim and Jeff headed off for something that doesn't bring so much carnage. I returned to the west property and took a shortcut down 13 and found Chuck and Chris at the intersection near otters. I stopped and let chuck go first and chris stopped to let me pull in between. I pulled out and heard a "bing" at the front drivers side. Found a long bolt that went to the steering box on teh ground. Closer inspection revealed both side bolts were busted off and the 2 bolts that go up from underneath were intact but the mount was busted mostly off the frame allowing the box to flex which caused the other bolts to break. I was wrapping a rachet strap around the steering box when Chuck said he was broke too. He lost a knuckle and the tire was laying on its side. I could still steer so just took it really easy getting out of there. Chris backed up to Chuck and used chucks winch to lift the front of the vehicle up from the top of his cage. Chris was able to drive out wtih chucks vehicle in tow like a trailer hooked to his cage. Needless to say the trails won this time. Had a blast anyway. Thanks to all who came out to play. Special thanks to Jeff for the Yoke!

| I'll have you know that I sat on my couch all day Sunday and pouted like a little kid. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have made it up there till like 11 on Sunday. Wedding + Open Bar + Nick = Trouble | |

| Wait a minute..... Nov 13th!!! That's what the problem was, why most all of us broke..... Must've been the problem. See?!? A realistic explanation, using only unrealistic ideaology.... Good enough for me! Yea, okay....maybe not. | |
