| Any of you guys have these for the chickadees for our winter wheeling excursions? I'm not sure what would be worse, destroying her North Face collection of gear or her freezing in crappy cold weather gear. I think the Carhartts would do the trick for winter wheeling (if I ever get my rig back together).

| Yeah I got Emily decked out on the winter gear last year. She loves the carhart look alike from TSC. But she hated the bibs to she wears her old snowboarding pants. The real comfort winner for her was the insulated rubber boots. Feet stay warm n dry and I get peace cause she isn't bitching about the cold. I hope we can get some snow wheeling in this winter. | |

| Where'd you get the boots? Cold feet are really the only thing she ends up bitching about. She bitches less than I do though I just don't want her to use her good ski stuff and mess it all up wheeling. | |

| redwings are nice but the warmest boots in my opinion are rubber boots with a lining in them | |

| I love my red wings too but they are expsive. Cheap snow gear is just as warm as expensive warm work gear. I don't think there is the need for her to get work gear unless you are going to have here get out and make sure your lug nuts are tight. I would just get medium priced shells to wear over the warm base clothing she has. I have never ruined under layers | |

Nick, Emily's boots came from TSC but I have seen similar at walmart, target and sporting goods stores. | |
