| Okay Nick and I are thinking of going exploring to a place in PA called Mt. Carmel. Nick has wheeled there before. This will probably happen the weekend after the scheduled club run. The reason I am posting this. Is if one or two others want to go? We dont want to make a huge club trip out of it as we are still shakey on the details and legalities of the place. We may get there and it is a bust or it might be good. As for time to get there add around 45 mins to what it takes to get to RC. I understand that many of you dont live here in PA and this is a hell of a ride for nothing. But i wanted to put the offer out there to everyone. | |

| Hey Rich... put me down for a maybe... depending on the locker situation by then... I should have the locker in my hands tomorrow... but still no word on the parts. Eaton referred me to a distributor for the parts... the distributor seemed clueless... in fact at first they didn't even know they sold just parts (even though Eaton gave me the numbers... actually all but a price quote). If I don't hear back tonight I am calling again tomorrow. | |

Judging by that post and the picture links there is no issue running at Mt.Carmel/Shamokin...get excited guys we might be in great shape for a Free wheeling location!!! I think I'm gonna run there this weekend with just a local guy or 2 and get my bearings back. I've ran probably 90% of the area but it's been a while and I don't want anybody to make the haul from Maryland/Virginia to follow me around in cirlces doing 15 point turns all day...
There is great wheeling there...especially for you mud lovers! I also have a hill climb that beat me 3 times already and also a major rock trail to run now that I'm better equipped. | |

| Yah Kat if you look at my picasa web albums you can see me sunk in a mud pit there. I've never made it through that pit and I'm done trying. It takes more than 35"s I can promise you that because I've been with a lot of different rigs with no luck. It's a great mud trail though and the pit is the last obstacle and for some reason the more and more I get into the mud I turn into a child and can't keep myself out of it. Plus I need to find out if 37"s will do the trick! | |

| On our first trip out to Rausch Creek last year we were wheelin' with a couple from PA, they were telling us near there or within a few exits was a free place to wheel were there was a real pretty waterfall. Is this near the area where you guys arer going? | |

| Well...there are probably lots of pretty waterfalls but the first one that comes to my mind from reading that post is in Pottsville off of 61. It is all state game lands now It was my favorite place to go wheeling and I used to go every weekend. I'm sure you could still go back there but the last time I was there before it was even game lands they had a watershed employee patrolling who gave us a warning. Anyway it's called the Wolf Creek Falls - Im not sure if this is what you were told about but it's by a nice rock obstacle and then you walk back into the woods to the falls. Crystal clear water...beautiful...you feel like you're in another state when you're there - I miss it http://picasaweb.google.com/njf128/OldPottsvillePics/photo#5067760503035310946 There they are...I also posted some other pottsville pics from a few years ago. | |

| It went well but I think it needs to be kept as a private location. In my opinion, it isn't appopriate to have a club ride of 10+ rigs. Hope everybody understands what I mean here. I found most of the trails I was looking for and ran into some locals to gain some knowledge on the area. Seems like legit wheeling but the guys that wheel there are the guys responsible for the rights to run the trails through BIG trail cleanups. They also cut trails and it is "their territory". This wasn't outright said to any of us but I feel like that is the situation and until I become more familar with the locals I don't want to head up with more than 5 rigs. I wasn't going to make a public post at all but I decided to at least explain. I think that for us to gain access to the place as a club we would have to contribute to a trail cleanup or have one by ourselves. Anyway, here are my pics from the day.

| Nick I just checked out your pics, they look good and it's a good thing you got it under control. I agree with you, we would have to earn the right to use it by helping out with the clearing and stuff. Get back to me and give me more details, to see what we can do together. Thanks for this opportunity to find a new location. Great find! You guys had lot's of fun for what I could see. I haven't wheeled now since April and am having withdrawl attacks. | |

| Thanks for understanding and agreeing with me Tico. I have high hopes for this area just be patient all and when it comes time for a cleanup or cutting be ready to contribute...from what I know of everybody with MRR this goes unsaid! | |
