| Looks like I'm in on this one. I sent an email to Kyle asking about practice this Saturday on the Baja course. If it is a go then great, we'll get some high speed practice. If it is not a go then great, we'll get some practice on the obstacles. If it rains we'll get some practice on the nasty muddy hill climbs to see if I can catch on fire again. If the rig needs nothing and practice goes well then I'll be wheeling it sunday too. | |

| I plan on being there Sat. and Sun. to screw around, too.... Hopefully we end up at the Comfort Inn off Exit 100 for the night. Edit: What time on Sat do you plan on getting to the park? | |

| If you haven't called to get a room at camp comfort your odds might not be so good. I would call asap. I would love to go and the YJ is ready to roll but the jeep will be in the sand by saturday night. | |

| My Jeep won't be there this weekend. My transfer case is broke in half. | |

| The baja course is being used all day Saturday. Only time it's available as of now for practice is Sunday afternoon, after 1:00 p.m. Looks like shakedown run on the new property on Saturday and high speed sun afternoon. | |

| Easy course this time around with 7 mile course and 5 laps. Heading to Pine Grove now with the all or nothing attitude to this race. Gonna run this one fast and either do well or find another weak link. | |

| Got half lap in and broke the steering ram off the axle. Steering felt loose from the start and mentally blamed it on the new steering ratio. Must have been broken from the prerun and broke off completely when I got to outer limits. Storms were coming so we took the 60" high lift and used it as a tie rod, hooked the axle winch to the right high steer arm and main winch to the left side steer arm and used that to drive back to the pits. Sucks to break again but it was my own fault for not checking it during race prep. Time to make it xtra beefy! Chris Riley has the Juggy now to order parts and get started on the fix. Also need to wrap the tranny lines and exhaust since the tranny is still overheating under load. Juggy was running better than ever and felt great over the rough stuff. Hit some stuff that would have shook my fillings out before but now felt like nothing. I'm really pleased the way the Juggy is running now, just need to make repairs and we'll be ready to rock. Special Thanks to Chris Riley for his help with the Juggy, He's done some excellent work to it and the breakage wasn't related to any work that he did, I take the blame for not gusseting my ram mount. | |

| I guess the 30 minute debate over the design while drinking a beer wasn't as beef as we thought. | |
