| Okay guys as Bill and Rich already know I have offically gone off the Deep end . Not only am I swaping the rear, I have said screw it and there goes the front But unlike my Dana35 my Dana 30 is rather nice It does have its downs but for the most part its a really good axle and after you read the axle set up most will agree with me. The only problem is that for the type of wheeling I'm doing and the direction that I'm taking my rig the Dana30 cant keep up. For anyone running 36's or less and running greens blues and mid level blacks this axle in my opinion is perfect. The lock out hubs are great for those that street drive cause when your unlocked only the wheels spin. This saves on wear, tear and GAS. The list below is what all is invested in the front end. -Stock Dana 30 HP (out of a 88 or 89 yj) -4:10 ring and pinion (in the axle) -4:56 ring and pinion (not in the axle) -New upper ball joints (last year) -2 sets of stock steering parts for a YJ -New brake calipers (2 years ago) -Detroit no spin 27 spline full locker (350 new) -Warn lock out hub kit complete hub to hub (New hubs and bearings last year) (950 new) -TJ stock axles (this gives you one piece shaft and larger U-joints) (100-200 used) -other dana 30 stuff Okay this axle will bolt directly in to any YJ 1987-1995 it may work for TJ, XJ and ZJ's but thats for you to make sure. The only thing you need to remember is the diff needs to be shimed if you want to use the 4x4 on the street at high speeds. We set the gear at my shop. I would like to sell this complete from HUB to HUB everything I listed and more extra parts that come with it. For those of you that only want parts, give it a week or two and see who wants what. Then come to me as a group and buy the whole thing in one shot. I'm up for trades on items that I need either for my build or parts that I can use for my YJ. Cash is best. Either PM or onejeepguy94@aol.com $900.00 complete or OBO | |

| I'm going Dana 44 in the front. But it seems like everyone hates there dana 30 cause I haven't even got any offers on just bits and pieces of it. Next thing to do is put it on CL. | |

| I think it does. Most places that list the kit list it for 87 and up. The only difference is that yj's early years came with smaller U-joints, but I have fixed that issue with the TJ axle shafts. I someone is interested I would say check it out. I know that the locker works in any Dana30 and the gears In any HP D30. I will call warn this week and see what they say. Cause I called them to last time to see if the TJ outer shafts I ordered would work for a YJ and they told me the only difference was that some have ABS? | |

| I thought all yjs are leafs and all tjs, xjs, and zjs are coils. Unless you mean that your just parting out the axel then in that case never mind. | |

| Yeah your right Joe but I was talking about parting out the axle. If someone makes a offer for it complete I would like to go that route. But if I get enough people looking for just parts of it I will be willing to do that to. | |

| I was waiting for the parts breakdown... hehehe... But now may main concern is the axle tube on mine... I won't hold you up from selling it, but if it is still laying around by the time I get mine fixed I might hit you up for the guts. | |
