Dear Fellow Rock Raiders,
I am writing to you seeking your support. I don't know a majority of you but feel through the common bond and interest of off road driving, having fun and the brotherhood created by those aspects that indirectly we do know one another.

Last year I was fortunate enough to be chosen as part of a group that participates in a benefit climb for an organization called Big City Mountaineers (BCM). The conclusion of my benefit climb on Mt. Shasta last year left me so elated I decided to take the challenge again.

This year my endeavor is even greater. I will be taking on the most glaciated mountain in North America, Mt. Rainier, located in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. On August 24th, 2007, my team and I will be faced with a three day climb to the summit which looms at 14,410 ft.

Please take a moment and read about the organizations behind this event.

BCM is a non-profit organization that provides a recreational mentoring program for at-risk-teens. 100% of the net proceeds raised by the Summit For Someone series of benefit climbs goes directly to BCM.

The support I received last year from day one of my training and fund raising, to the last step off of that mountain, was unrivaled by anything I have experienced. I am going to need this support structure once again. Whether it is words of encouragement or a donation, everything helps.

Since most of us reading this e-mail have lived fortunate lives, I ask you to support me in helping these kids. I have once again pledged to raise $3500 before July 24th. The good news is you can help from the comfort of your desk. Your generous donations will go directly to the BCM Organization and all contributions are tax-deductible.

Just click on the link below to be directed to my donation page:

Thank you in advance for your time, generosity and support!

Chris Lloyd
