| My engine skid took a big hit last time out! This is what it used to look like: Now after the rock course at the York show: I'm glad it was there or my exhaust would have been toast! | |

| Oh my damn! WHAT DID YOU DO? My stock belly pan looks that way but its thin and cheap. I would be happy that you bought the nice skid plate. Send them a pic of the skid and see if you can get a new one or keep the old one for cool points. | |

| I'd call them about it and if no go just take it off and run over it a few times with a heavy vehicle to straighten it out. Perhaps weld some angle iron to the top side of it to sure it up a little and call it good. If you need help I have a heavy truck, some angle iron and a welder. | |

| I just looked up their warranty: This warranty specifically excludes:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Damage caused by improper installation or mounting.
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials and workmanship.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Rusting and cosmetic damage to SRO part.
- All consequential and incidental damages, including but not limited to, shipping costs.
- Impact damage is not covered by warranty. Skid plates are meant to prevent damage to more important components and are not impervious to damage themselves.
I think I fall under the following catagories:
- abuse
- normal wear and tear
- IMPACT DAMAGE
- rusting

I had a disagreement with a rock. I wanted to go forward and the rock did not want me to go forward. Words were exchanged and things got ugly. You should see how the rock ended up! | |
