I gotta blame Nestor

Wife and I got talking and she liked the Cherokee Idea. It's dark, rainy so you can barely figure what it is but it magically appeared in front of the house.


1991 jeep cherokee limited - 4.0, 4x4, power seats and windows, leather interior, 167,000 on drivetrain 60k roughly on rebuilt wrangler motor, 3 inch lift with 31 bfg all terrians and safari rack. Only a couple minor things like no AC and a loose drivers seat but the price was great

Some people carry a spare axleshaft or two. Now you can carry a spare jeep.

Hey T - my justifications were - Now we have something for the colder months since she was a bit cold during shanandoah trip with the top down, it can carry more gear when camping since she brings everything, she can drive it occasionally on greens and light blues and I have a back up in case the wrangler acts up (that was always my main worry). That and I acted as soon as she seemed ok with it.

But it was Nestor who (un)paved the way!

Yeah well what can I say. Good job Gill the Ac could be a easy fix come spring it can be looked at. the lose seat is a easy fix to. I like it. take more pics with it gets nice out.

I have a cherokee rear canvas cargo cover in tan you can have and a set of hard mats too. Just let me know when you wanna pick them up. Like Nester said your fixer upper can be fix relatively quickly. If the AC doesn't work you can convert the compressor for an air pump!

Well I had to bail on this weekend (had to justify saving $ on what I would have spent between wheeling saturday and gun show sunday to buy the jeep) but I thought something was going on on the 3/4th that I canbe at.

the first investment you should make on that thing if you plan to wheel it is some rock rails. Just like the d35 its not if, just when its going to happen. And once you hit the rocker panel their done.

any recommendations on rails? or a good place to look, what I saw wasnt cheap

this is one area you don't want to go cheap on because they will get abused.
