| You should be able to get them at just about any auto parts store. Pep boys had em, NAPA has them. | |

| brute force U-joints will work just fine thats what I have had in mine for the last year. Eric (the other Eric) will have them in a week or two when he buys my front end of my jeep and pulls his out. I'm sure he would be willing to sell the axles and the spares that he has that has the smaller U-joints. Spicer makes good stuff but its not bullet proof or worth the money when it comes to Dana 30 parts. | |

| Careful when getting spares because the YJ passenger side is a 2 piece shaft where the TJ passenger side is 1 long piece. Nester can explain how to eliminate the 4WD vacuum on the YJ axle and make it so that the TJ shaft will fit.
I bought the "heavy duty" u-joints from Napa for $23 and they seem OK. I destroyed one of the cheapo $9 joints on the rock pile at the York Jeep show after 1 month of use. Stay away from them. | |

| i know the yj has two peice axles but iwas gona try to sway in the tj shafts while i had it all apart. I get the basics for doing it, just need the shafts Ive got a week before i can put them in so brute force it is unless i can get some tj shafts | |

| you need to change a seal for the TJ shafts it normally takes most places a day or two to get the seal in stock. i will get the part number for you if you find the TJ shafts but just to let you know you will also have to pull the carrier out to change the seal so it adds a couple of hours to the job. make sure you get the larger U joint and not the smaller ones that XJ's came with. | |
